This is a cheerful, beachy cottage just a few steps down the street to the fabulous, uncrowded beach!! Directly off Ft. Morgan Rd., this is a short street that dead-ends into the white sandy beach. You have Mobile Bay on one side and the Gulf of America on the other, so there are always phenomenal breezes at this location. This is towards the end of Ft. Morgan Rd., close to the Civil War fort and the ferry that travels between Fort Morgan and Dauphin Island.
House has 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, open living area for living room, dining area and kitchen. There is a large balcony with outdoor furniture and views of the Gulf. One of the bathrooms is on the lower level with the full-size washer/dryer. The covered carport has a storage room (which houses 2 large beach buggy wagons to haul your gear to the beach!), as well as an outdoor shower & faucet to rinse the sand off before going upstairs to the main level. This groovy pad is completely non-smoking. I regret that I cannot rent to anyone under 25.
There is a fenced-in back yard area for dogs or kids. The entire house is enclosed with fences and gates to keep your dog from getting out. If you are bringing any pets, please indicate this in your inquiry. Max 3 pets - dogs are $50 each or cats are $25 each,.
In addition to the activities listed here for Ft. Morgan, you have all the fun activities and restaurants close by in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Foley, etc. And you're very close to the ferry to cross the bay over to Dauphin Island! But many people just love the idea of showing up stocked and not having to leave the peacefulness and wonderful beach. If you're getting weary of the hustle-bustle of the other nearby beach areas - the crowded, lengthy waits at restaurants, terrible traffic, crowded beaches and hoardes of people everywhere you go - then this area of Ft. Morgan might be exactly what you've been longing for! SURF'S UP!!!
