The BeachBum is a 3 br 2 bath cottage located on Fort Morgan peninsula in beautiful quiet beach neighborhood Morgantown. Located in quiet area away from busy city of Gulf Shores but only about 20 minute drive into town. Our family friendly neighborhood is located on gulf side with quiet roads and the BeachBum is a brisk 5-10 minute walk to beach. Golf carts welcome and we recommend Island Cart LLC. This neighborhood has it all, 2 pools, which one is newly renovated and heated, pickle ball court, basketball court, tennis court and golf cart parking area. Roads are quiet and safe for walking, running or just a leisurely stroll. Beautiful scenery with the Gulf in our backyard, marshland, and beautiful picturesque homes. There are 3 private boardwalks to make getting to the beach quick and easy. Also there is a public boardwalk with public parking next to the west boardwalk.
Our home is equipped to sleep 10 comfortably. We have one king master with onsuite and large closet, 1 queen bedroom and 1 bedroom with 2 full beds, a twin bunk nook that makes you feel as you are in the ocean swimming with the fish, dolphins and sea turtles. We also have a full bath with bathtub shower combo.
The open layout has plenty of room to spread out but at same time be close to your family. From the spacious living area to the fully stocked kitchen we have everything you need to make yourself at home. We even have 2 box fans and ceiling fans in every room.
Enjoy beautiful sunsets and natural beauty from one of our 2 decks. The front deck you will have tiny view of Gulf and can hear the ocean waves. Downstairs we have a picnic table. In the bottom storage room you will find charcoal grill, beach toys, beach wagon that pulls easily on sand, small air compressor, cooler, and commercial ice machine. We may have beach chairs available but unfortunately can't guarentee due to heavy use they may be broken or thrown away. We recommend checking out our storage area before you purchase any supplies.
